Salary - Basic Pay Rs.9300/- Grade Pay Rs.5100/- plus allowances in Pay Band II category (Basic Pay Rs.37700/- plus allowances in Pay Matrix Level 20);

Educational Qualification - BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Textile Technology

2. Junior Electrical Inspector in Tamil Nadu Electrical Inspectorate Service (2015-2016) - 3 Posts;

Salary - Basic Pay Rs.9300/- Grade Pay Rs.5100/- plus allowances in Pay Band II category (Basic Pay Rs.37700/- plus allowances in Pay Matrix Level 20);

Educational qualification - BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering (Those who-ever having the One Year Apprenticeship Certificate will get the priority)

3. Assistant Engineer (Agricultural Engineering) in Tamil Nadu Agricultural Engineering Service (2016 - 2017) - 117 Posts;

Salary - Basic Pay Rs.9300/- Grade Pay Rs.5100/- plus allowances in Pay Band II category (Basic Pay Rs.37700/- plus allowances in Pay Matrix Level 20);

Educational qualification - (i)BE / BTech / BSc Agriculture / Agricultural Engineering; (ii) BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering [Priority will be given for (i) candidates only. If sufficient candidates not available then (ii) candidates will be considered]

4. Assistant Engineer (Fisheries Engineering) in Tamil Nadu Fisheries Engineering Service (2016 - 2017) - 13 Posts;

Age limit details:

Cut-off date for age 01.07.2017
Minimum age limit is 18 years (should have completed) for all.
No maximum age limit for BC / BCM / MBC / DNC / SC / SCA / ST candidates and Destitute Widow of all communities, includes UR.
Maximum age limit is 30 years for (should not have competed) for UR candidates (except destitute widow)
PwD: Persons with Disabilities will get additional 10 years relaxation.

Exam Method:

Two papers in MCQ type of examination

Paper I: Core main subject Total 200 MCQs;

Each question will carry 1.5 marks; Total 300 marks

Paper II: General Studies (Degree Std Level) 75 MCQs;

Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (10th Std Level) 25 MCQs

There is no negative marking system.

Personal Interview 70 marks.
