Salary - Scale of pay Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay
Matrix with initial pay of Rs.19900/- plus other allowances as admissible;
Educational Qualification –
Have passed
Matriculation or equivalent examination under 10+2 system and
ITI from
recognised SCVT/NCVT in the trade of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic /
Millwright Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & TV / Electronics
Mechanic / Mechanic Motor vehicle / Wireman / Tractor Mechanic / Armature &
Coil Winder / Mechanic Diesel / Heat Engine / Turner / Machinist /
Refrigeration & AC mechanic.
Also candidates
having Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics
/ Automobile or combination of various streams of these engineering disciplines
from recognised institution
Age limit - as on 01.07.2018 – minimum 18 years to
maximum 28 years - Refer para 5.1 for age relaxations.
By
5 years for SC/ST Candidates
By
3 years for OBC candidates
For
Ex-serviceman, up to the extent of service rendered in Defence, plus 3 years,
provides they have put in more than 6 months services after affectation.
By 5 years for candidates who have ordinarily been domiciled in the state of
Jammu & Kashmir.
By
10 years for persons with Disabilities (PWD) UR, (13 years for OBC and 15 years
for SC/ST).
Exam Method
There shall be two stages
examination
First stage CBT and
Second Stage CBT
Common for ALP and
Technician
In addition, candidates
who have opted for ALP and qualified in Second Stage CBT have to undergo
Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT).
Marks will be normalized
in all the stages of exam.
Examination
fee:
All candidates except the
fee concession categories mentioned below at Sl. No.2 Rs.500/-
Candidates belonging to
SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities /
Economically backward class - Rs.250/-
*** This fee of Rs.250/-
shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in
First Stage CBT.
