RRB JE Salary: Level 6th CPC Pay Matrix with an initial pay
of Rs.35,400/- plus other allowances as admissible
Educational Qualification:
3 years diploma (relevant field)
BE/B. Tech (relevant field)
Final-year students aren’t allowed to take part in this application
Age limit
Candidates who are applying as per the official notification of RRB
2024
The lower age limit is 18 years and the upper one is 33 years.
SC/ST candidates will get a 5-year age relaxation,
OBC candidates will be getting a 3-year relaxation.
Ex-servicemen will be having an extra 3 years in the upper age
limit, varying by category.
PwBD candidates get 10-15 years of relaxation based on their
category.
Jammu & Kashmir residents (1980-1989) will receive 38-43 years.
Women candidates also receive extra age relaxation based on some
factors.
Nationality:
Residents of India, Bhutan, and Nepal are allowed to apply for
these job positions

Selection of Railway Recruitment Board 2024:
Candidates will have to write CBT-1 & CBT-2 (Computer based
Test)
CBT-1: Candidates will be writing 4 subjects,
Mathematics - 30 questions
General Intelligence & Reasoning - 25 questions
General Awareness - 15 questions and
General Science - 30 questions
with a duration of 90 minutes. (Total: 100 Qs)
CBT-2: General Awareness, Physics & Chemistry,
Computer Application Basics,
Environment & Pollution Basics and Technical Ability
General Awareness - 15 questions
Physics & Chemistry - 15
Computer Application Basics - 10
Environment & Pollution Basics - 10 and
Technical Ability - 100
The total duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. (Total: 150 Qs)
