Tamil Nadu MBBS eligibility - 2023
Tamil Nadu
MBBS/BDS 2023 admission, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria.
Domicile:
Candidates must belong to the
Tamil Nadu domicile.
Candidates who have studied
Class 6 to 12 from schools situated in Tamil Nadu or partly or completely from
other states will be required to submit their parents' birth certificate,
ration card and class 10 or 12 certificates as proof of domicile.
Candidates who do not belong to
Tamil Nadu domicile but have completed Class 6 to 12 from the state can apply
for Tamil Nadu NEET 2023 admission under the open category.
Other state candidates living
in Tamil Nadu can apply for Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS admission under the open
category.
Nationality:
Indian nationals are eligible
to apply for Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS admission.
Non-residents of India (NRI) or
Persons of Indian origin (PIO) are eligible for management/NRI quota seats.
Age:
Candidates 17 years or above as
of December 31, 2023 are eligible for Tamil Nadu NEET admission 2023.
Academic qualification:
- Students must have pass class
12 with minimum 50% marks for general category.
- Students from SC/ST/OBC and PH
categories need 40% and 45% marks respectively in class 12 examination.
- Students must have studied
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects in class 12.

MBBS/BDS 2023 is qualifying the NEET UG exam.
Candidates
who will secure the NEET 2023 cutoff will be eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS
seats in the state.

Students will have to upload scanned images of their passport-size
photograph and signature in the application form of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2023.
To submit the online application form students have to pay an
