• கோவிட்-19 தாக்கத்தை எதிர்த்து போராடுவதில் உதவும் வகையில் இந்தியாவிற்கு 750 மில்லியன் அமெரிக்க டாலர் கடனுதவி வழங்குவதாக ஆசிய உட்கட்டமைப்பு முதலீட்டு வங்கி (Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB)) 17-6-2020 அன்று அறிவித்துள்ளது.
  • கூ.தக.: 16 ஜனவரி 2016 ல் தொடங்கப்பட்ட ஆசிய உட்கட்டமைப்பு முதலீட்டு வங்கியின் தலைமையிடம் சீனாவின் பீஜிங் நகரில் உள்ளது. இவ்வமைப்பில் தற்போது 102 நாடுகள் உறுப்பினர்களாக உள்ளன.
• இந்தியாவின் முதல் வாயு பரிமாற்ற அமைப்பு (Indian Gas Exchange (IGX) ) 15-6-2020 அன்று தொடங்கி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இது இயற்கை வாயுவை வர்த்தகர்கள் கொள்முதல் மற்றும் விற்பதற்கான டிஜிட்டல் சந்தையாக இருக்கும். மேலும் , ஏற்கனவே இருக்கும் ’இந்திய ஆற்றல் பரிமாற்ற அமைப்பின்’ (India Energy Exchange (IEX)) கீழ் இந்த புதிய அமைப்பு செயல்படும்.
• அதிக அளவில் அணு ஆயுதங்களை வைத்திருக்கும் நாடுகளின் பட்டியலில் உலகளவில் இந்தியா 150 அணு ஆயுதங்களுடன் 6 வது இடத்தைப் பெற்றுள்ளது. முதல் மூன்று இடங்களை முறையே அமெரிக்கா, ரஷ்யா மற்றும் இங்கிலாந்து நாடுகள் உள்ளன. ஸ்டாக்ஹோம் சர்வதேச அமைதி ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனத்தின் ( Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI)) மூலம் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ள பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் ஆயுதங்கள் தொடர்பான சர்வதேச சிந்தனை குழுவின் 2020 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான ஆண்டறிக்கையில் இந்த தகவல்கள் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
  • கூ.தக. : இந்த பட்டியலின் படி, அணு ஆயுதங்களின் எண்ணிக்கையில் இந்தியாவை விட சீனா (360 அணு ஆயுதங்கள்) மற்றும் பாகிஸ்தான் (160அணு ஆயுதங்கள்) நாடுகள் அதிக அணு ஆயுதங்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
    கரோனா காரணமாக தீவிர சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருவோரின் உயிரைக் காக்க மலிவு விலையில், பரவலாகக் கிடைக்கும் டெக்ஸாமெதாசோன் (dexamethasone) எனும் ஸ்டீராய்டு மாத்திரை உதவலாம் என பிரிட்டனைச் சார்ந்த ஆக்ஸ்போர்டு பல்கலைக்கழக ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் அறிவித்துள்ளனர்.

• ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் பாதுகாப்பு கவுன்சிலில்(United Nations Security Council), 2021, 2022 ஆகிய 2 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு உறுப்பினர் பதவி வகிப்பதற்கான 5 நிரந்தரமற்ற உறுப்பினர் பதவிகளுக்கு மெக்சிகோ, இந்தியா, அயர்லாந்து மற்றும் நார்வே ஆகியவை 17-6-2020 அன்று தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டன.ஒரு இருக்கை இன்னும் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்படாமல் உள்ளது.
  • கூ.தக. :15 உறுப்பினர்களை கொண்ட ஐ.நா. பாதுகாப்பு கவுன்சிலில் அமெரிக்கா, ரஷியா, இங்கிலாந்து, பிரான்ஸ், சீனா ஆகிய 5 நாடுகள் நிரந்தர உறுப்பு நாடுகளாக உள்ளன. ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் பொதுச்சபை, 5 நிரந்தரமற்ற உறுப்பினர்களை (மொத்தம் 10 பேரில்) 2 ஆண்டு காலத்துக்கு தேர்வு செய்யும். இந்த 10 இடங்களில் ஆப்பிரிக்க ஆசிய நாடுகளுக்கு 5, கிழக்கு ஐரோப்பிய நாடுகளுக்கு 1, லத்தீன் அமெரிக்கா மற்றும் கரீபியன் நாடுகளுக்கு 2 மற்றும் மேற்கு ஐரோப்பியா உள்ளிட்ட பிற நாடுகளுக்கு 2 என இட ஒதுக்கீடு அமைந்துள்ளது. ஐநா பொதுச் சபையின் 75 வது அமர்வின் தலைவராக துருக்கிய இராஜதந்திரி வோல்கன் போஸ்கிரையும் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துள்ளனர்.
• நேபாள நாட்டிலுள்ள பசுபதிநாத் கோயில் வளாகத்தை (Pashupatinath temple) மேம்படுத்தும் பணிகளுக்காக இந்தியாவின் சார்பாக ரூ.2.33 கோடி நிதியுதவி வழங்குவதற்கான புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் இந்தியா - நேபாள் இடையே 15-6-2020 அன்று செய்துகொள்ளப்பட்டது.
• லடாக் பகுதியில் சீன ராணுவம் நடத்திய திடீர் தாக்குதலில் தமிழகத்தின் இராமநாதபுரத்தை சேர்ந்த வீரர் பழனி உள்பட 20 இந்திய வீரர்கள் வீரமரணம் அடைந்தனர். இந்திய வீரர்களின் பதிலடியில் சீனதரப்பில் 43 பேர் பலியானதாக தகவல் வெளியாகி உள்ளது. கூ.தக. : இந்தியா-சீனா மோதலில் 45 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பிறகு தற்போது தான், இந்திய ராணுவ வீரா்கள் பலியாகியுள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. முன்னதாக கடந்த 1975-ஆம் ஆண்டு அருணாசல பிரதேசத்தில் உள்ள துலுங் லா பகுதியில் இருநாட்டு படைகளுக்கும் இடையே ஏற்பட்ட மோதலில் அஸ்ஸாம் ரைஃபிள்ஸ் படைப்பிரிவின் இந்திய வீரா்கள் 4 போ் உயிரிழந்தனா்.

• கஷகஸ்தான் நாட்டின் பிரதமர் முகமது கால்யி அபில்காஷியேவ் ( Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziyev ) ஊழல் குற்றச்சாட்டுகளையடுத்து தனது பதவியை இராஜினாமா செய்துள்ளார்.
• “வெரிஃபைடு”(Verified) என்ற பெயரில் கோவிட்-19 பற்றிய தவறான தகவல்களைப் பரவுவதைத் தடுப்பதற்கான உலகளாவிய முன்னெடுப்பை இந்திய உள்ளிட்ட 12 நாடுகளின் உதவியுடன் ஐக்கிய நாடுகளவை 21-5-2020 அன்று அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. இதன் மூன்று கருப்பொருட்கள் ( themes) வருமாறு,

  • ஒற்றுமை - உள்ளூர் மற்றும் உலகளாவிய ஒத்துழைப்பை ஊக்குவிக்க; (solidarity – to promote local and global cooperation)
  • தீர்வுகள் - பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மக்களுக்கு ஆதரவை ஆதரிக்க.(solutions – to advocate support for impacted populations.)
• பிரிட்டனில் இனவெறிக்கு எதிராக புதிய ஆணையம் அமைப்பதாக அந்நாட்டு பிரதமர் போரிஸ் ஜான்சன் அறிவித்துள்ளார்.
