Educational Qualification:

1. Agriculture Field Officer - JMGS Scale - I:

Educational Qualification: 4-year Degree (Graduation) in Agriculture / Horticulture / Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture / Agri. Marketing & Cooperation/ Co-operation & Banking / Agro-Forestry / Forestry / Agricultural Biotechnology / Food Science / Agriculture Business Management / Food Technology / Dairy Technology / Agricultural Engineering / Sericulture with a minimum required marks of 60% in aggregate of all semesters / years and 55% in aggregate of all semesters / years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.

 

2. Security Officers - Mmgs Scale - II:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized University.

Essential Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience as an officer in Indian Army not below the rank of Captain and its equivalent rank in Indian Navy, Indian Air Force with minimum 5 years of Commissioned services. Or minimum 5 years’ experience an officer of equivalent rank and service in Police and Central Para Military forces / Central Police Organizations

 

3. Law Officer - MMGS SCALE – II

Educational Qualification:

Essential:  Bachelor’s Degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrolment as an Advocate with a minimum required marks of 60% or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters / years. For SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates, minimum required marks of 55% in the aggregate of all semesters/years in Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

Desirable: Special knowledge of (i) Banking Law, Company Law, Labour Law and Constitutional Law and experience in drafting of pleadings and documents; (ii) Proficiency in computer applications.

 

Experience:

Essential: At least five years’ experience as an Advocate or as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a Bank / financial institution/ statutory corporation / Company and/or Legal Associate / Legal consultant in an Advocate’s or Solicitor’s Office or in the Legal Department of Central / state Government or as teacher in law in a Law College / University. However, preference shall be given to the candidates having experience as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a nationalized Bank/financial institution. The candidate should have worked in Bank for one year as Law Officer.

 

4. HR / Personnel - MMGS Scale - II

Educational Qualification:

Essential: Graduate and Two Years Full Time Post Graduate Degree (Not through Distance Mode of Education) or Two Years Full Time Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HR / HRD/ Social Work / Labour Law (Not through Distance Mode of Education) with a minimum required marks of 60% in aggregate of all semesters / years and 55% in aggregate of all semesters / years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.

 

Essential Experience:

Essential: Minimum three years’ post qualification experience as HR Manager/Officer in Scheduled Commercial Banks/PSBs/ Central or State Govt. Departments/Reputed Private Organizations.

Candidates having exposure to Labour law, Labour court and Conciliation proceedings, IR and training related activities may be given preference. He / She should have a good track record (shall not be facing any criminal charges/investigation).

 

5. IT Support Administrator Scale – II

Educational Qualification:

B. Tech or B.E in any of the following streams:- Computer Science / Electronics / Electronics & Communication.

(or) MCA (or) M.Sc. Computer Science, Minimum 55% marks in the aggregate of all semesters / years, 50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD

Experience: Minimum one year experience in IT support (Software / Hardware)

 

6. Database Administrator (MSSQL / ORACLE) Scale - II

Educational Qualification:

B. Tech or B.E in any of the following streams:- Computer Science / Electronics / Electronics & Communication.

(or) MCA (or) M.Sc. Computer Science, Minimum 55% marks in the aggregate of all semesters / years, 50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.

Experience: Minimum three-year experience in Oracle / MSSQL Database Administration / Database Operation preferable in Banking Projects.

 

7. Windows Administrator Scale - II

Educational Qualification:

B. Tech or B.E in any of the following streams:-

Computer Science / Electronics / Electronics & Communication

(or) MCA (or) M.Sc. Computer Science, Minimum 55% marks in the aggregate of all semesters / years, 50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.

Experience: Minimum three-year experience in System / Server Administration preferable in Banking Projects.

 

8. Product Support Engineer Scale - II

Educational Qualification:

B. Tech or B.E in any of the following streams:- Computer Science / Electronics / Electronics & Communication.

(or) MCA (or) M.Sc. Computer Science, Minimum 55% marks in the aggregate of all semesters / years, 50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.

Experience: Minimum three-year experience in UNIX/ Oracle Database Operations 

preferably in Banking Projects.

 

9. Network & Security Administrator Scale – II

Educational Qualification:

B. Tech or B.E in any of the following streams:-

Computer Science / Electronics / Electronics & Communication

(or) MCA (or) M.Sc Computer Science, Minimum 55% marks in the aggregate of all semesters / years, 50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.

10. Email Administrator Scale – II:

Salary:

1. Assistant Professor (Grade II) (On contract) - Pay Level 10, 11 (On Contract) [PB-3 with Academic Grade Pay of ₹ 6000 / 7000/-]

 

Educational Qualification:

i) Detailed Educational Qualifications, Experience and other criteria for selection shall be as per the modified recruitment rules for Faculty in NITs as per schedule E of the first statutes of the NITs (amendment statutes 2017).

ii) All new entrants (except to the Department of Architecture) shall have Ph.D. in the relevant / equivalent discipline and shall have First Class in the preceding degrees.

 

For faculty in the Department of Architecture, following shall be the essential qualification:

 

First Class degree in Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture / M.Plan

 

1. Pay Level 10: M.Arch. or M.Plan. with one-year professional experience: Assistant Professor at Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6000;

 

2. Pay Level 11: M.Arch. or M.Plan. with two years professional experience: Assistant Professor at Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 7000;

In case, first class is not mentioned in the preceding degrees by the University / Institution, then the candidates should have secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% marks in aggregate.

 

In case the candidate has secured CGPA under any other point scale (other than 10-point scale), then certificate issued by the authorized signatory (not the Mentor/Supervisor/Head of the Department) of the Institute / University to the effect of having secured first class in such degree must be attached.

 

Alternately, the CGPA may be equivalently converted on 10-point scale for determination of eligibility.

 

The above mentioned CGPA / Percentage / Degree should be awarded by a recognized University / Institute.

 

Preceding Degrees:

For Architecture: Bachelor degree in Architecture and M.Arch / M.Plan / equivalent degree as applicable.

 

For Engineering: B.E./B.Tech. or any equivalent degree and M.E./M.Tech. or any equivalent degree in relevant discipline.

 

Candidates having Ph.D. Degree directly after B.E. / B.Tech. from reputed Institutions/Universities will also be considered, if other norms are fulfilled.

 

For Humanities/ Sciences / Computer Applications: B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./BCA or any equivalent undergraduate degree and/ or M.A./ M.Sc./ M.Com./ MCA or any equivalent P.G. degree in relevant discipline.

 

For Management: Ph.D. in Management / Business Administration discipline with preceding degree of 2 years full time in Master of Business Administration / Post Graduate Diploma in management or with Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering / Management or Industrial Engineering/ Management with Operations research / Systems / other relevant discipline.
