Teacher Eligibility Test 2019

Applications are invited only through online mode for Teacher Eligibility Test, Paper I and Paper II for the year 2019 from the eligible candidates in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test 2019 is conducted by Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), to be held in the month of October 2019.

There are 2 papers, Paper I for secondary grade teacher and Paper II for graduate teacher.

Tamil Nadu Teacher's Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2019

Examination Paper I - Mandatory for Class 1 to 5

Eligibility to attend the TNTET Paper I: 

12th Std Pass with Two Year Diploma in Elementary Education Course (passed out or final year student) 

OR

12th Std Pass with Four Year Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education Course B.El.Ed. (Passed out or final year student)  

OR

12th Std Pass with Two Year Diploma in Special Education Course (passed out or final year student) 

OR

Any Degree with Two Year Diploma in Elementary Education Course (passed out or final year student) 

OR

Any Degree with Two B.Ed. (passed out or final year student)

Tamil Nadu Teacher's Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2019

Examination Paper II - Mandatory for Class 6 to 8

Eligibility to attend the TNTET Paper II: 

Any Degree with Two Year Diploma in Elementary Education Course (passed out or final year student) 

OR

Any Degree with Two B.Ed. (passed out or final year student)  

OR

12th Std Pass with Four Year Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education Course B.El.Ed. (passed out or final year student)  

OR

12th Std Pass with Four Year B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed. (passed out or final year) 

OR

Degree with Two Year Diploma in Special Education Course (passed out or final year student) 

OR

B.Ed.

Examination Fee:

Rs.250/- for SC / SCA / ST / PwD candidates

Rs.500/- for UR / BC / BCM / MBC / DNC candidates

Mode of fee pay option: online payment only.

Total Paper: Single Paper
Time duration: 3 hours
