Age limit details :

  Minimum age limit is 18 years should have completed. There is no maximum age limit for SC / SCA / ST / BC / BCM / MBC / DNC candidates and Destitute Widow of all communities. Maximum age limit for UR candidates is 30 years. UR candidates, who-ever working more than 5 years in government sector (state / central / psu) are not eligible to apply, even though they are in with-in the age limit.

Examination Details :

Two papers in MCQ type of examination.
Paper I :  - 200 MCQs - 300 marks - 3 hours exam.
Paper II :  General Studies (Degree Std Level) 75 MCQs ; Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (10th Std Level) 25 MCQs - Total 200 marks - 2 hours exam.

Interview / Oral Test -  70 marks.
There is no negative marking system.
Examination Centres : Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Thirunelveli, Thanjavur, Vellore and Salem.
