Age limit details for Assistant Jailor Post 2018:

Minimum age limit is 18 years.

There is no maximum age limit - SC / SCA / ST / BC / BCM / MBC / DNC candidates and Destitute Widow of all communities.

There is no maximum age limit - Ex-Service-man candidates from SC / SCA / ST / BC / BCM / MBC / DNC candidates.

UR candidates - Maximum age limit 30 years.

PwD UR candidates - Maximum age limit 40 years.

Ex-Serviceman UR candidates - Maximum age limit 48 years. 

This age concession will not apply to the ex-servicemen applicants who have already been recruited to any class or service or category.

UR candidates, who-ever working more than 5 years in government sector (state / central / PSU) are not eligible to apply, even though they are in with-in the age limit.

Selection Process:

Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is interested with the task of preparation of shortlist from the online application data. Short listing of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines. Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through their registered Email id. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR), Chennai.

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION:

1. For students who have already enrolled in the National Web Portal and having login details

Please note: After verification of student enrolment by BOAT (SR), a student can able to login and apply
