Name of the vacancy Post details:

Agriculture Officer -192 Posts; Educational Qualification - Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc., Agriculture).Adequate knowledge in Tamil; Salary - Pay Scale Rs.37700 – 119500/- (As per 7^th CPC Matrix Level 20) as per Tamilnadu Revised Pay Rules 2017.

Age – Limit ( 01.07.2018)
SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all castes.	No age limit
Other	Should not have completed 30 Years [For persons holding B.Sc(Agriculture)]
Other	32 Years – For persons who are holding a postgraduate or higher degree in Agriculture such as M.Sc (Agriculture) or Ph.D. in Agriculture]

Application Fee:

Registration Fee - Rs. 150/-

Examination Fee - Rs. 200/-

Applicants who have already registered in One Time Registration system within the validity period of five years are exempted.

Selection Process:

1. Phase Selection - Paper – I & Paper – II

Two papers in MCQ type of examination.

Paper I: Agriculture Subject Total 200 MCQs; each questions will carry 1.5 marks; Total 300 marks.

Paper II: Total 100 Questions - General Studies (Degree Std Level) 75 MCQs; Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (10th Std Level) 25 MCQs
There is no negative marking system.

2. Interview and Record

Personal Interview 70 marks.

Exam Centers:

Examination will be conducted in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Salem and Thanjavur Districts in Tamil Nadu State.
