District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) in Tamil Nadu Social Defence Department (Tamil Nadu Approved Schools and Vigilance Service - Tamil Nadu Social Defence Service) - 16 Posts

Salary - Basic Pay Rs.56100/- plus allowances in Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Matrix Level - 22 (Gross Monthly Salary Rs.28005*)

Educational qualification - Bachelor Degree in Sociology / Social Work / Psychology / Child Development / Criminology

Age Limit instruction:

Cut off date for age: 01-07-2022
Minimum age limit - 21 years (should have completed) for all

No Age limit for BC / BCM / MBC / DNC / SC / SCA / ST candidates and Destitute Widow of all communities, includes UR.

Maximum age limit - 32 years for UR candidates (except destitute widow)
PwD: Persons with Disabilities will get additional 10 years relaxation. 

Details of Exam:

Paper – I: Core subject UG Level - 300 marks

Paper - II:  Tamil Eligibility Test - 10th Std Level - 150 marks - minimum pass 60 marks &

Tamil eligibility marks will not add with your final marks; General Studies - Degree Level - 150 marks

There is no negative marking system.

Personal Interview: 60 marks
